This company and crew are great. I recently heard good things from word of mouth so when some issues came up with our cars I decided to give them a try. They did the tires/breaks on both of our cars in the course of two days. They also worked with Subaru to figure out if other issues would be covered by them which to me is going above and beyond because normally we would be told to figure that out on our own. On top of being competent, every single employee I spoke to over those 2 days had REAL customer facing skills. I didn't stand there not being greeted and I didn't get any annoyed looks. They spoke professionally and patiently with real conversation skills that you simply don't get 90% of places these days. We will be back!

Went in for an oil change and also received a free very nice detailed report with photos of other issues on my car that should be addressed. There was no pressure of any kind to have these other issues fixed immediately . The issues were explained clearly and kindly to me and I was even given suggestions on what to prioritize fixing first. I appreciate the time they took in explaining everything to me and the care they used in looking over my vehicle. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and kind. I love that this is a family owned business and not a chain.

I took my car in with brake issues and the staff was so friendly and helpful! I have major car anxiety because of being treated poorly by other mechanics. But I felt so welcomed and was treated with nothing but kindness. Brendan was amazing with helping us with payments and finding deals. I will definitely get all my work done here and highly recommend to anyone!

I have lived in the area for a couple of years now and just recently used Skiles for the first time. I had work recommended on two different vehicles and wanted a second evaluation before moving forward. John answered the phone and immediately explained that they wanted to make sure the repairs were actually needed before doing anything. They inspected both vehicles first and then provided quotes. The entire process was smooth and transparent. I especially loved the text link they send with detailed descriptions and photos of the issues they found. Everyone there was incredibly helpful and friendly. You do not just feel like another customer there, but rather like family. Even though I didn’t use one this time, the availability of loaner vehicles is a huge bonus. Their pricing was very fair, and I truly appreciated the honesty throughout the entire experience. I’ll definitely be using Skiles from here on out!

The guys at Skiles Automotive Service-South Bend were so amazing! They were able to get me in the same day for an oil change. Extremely fast & so friendly! They had drinks & snacks for customers waiting in the lobby. And their prices are wonderful for an oil change! I have a larger, older SUV with higher mileage & the price was beyond reasonable! They reset my notification settings on my vehicle & now, I'm all set! Thanks Skiles! You guys are great!
